Sinditest ajuíza ação referente ao pagamento retroativo do feriado estadual de 19 de dezembro

A Assessoria Jurídica do Sinditest entrou com ação requerendo o pagamento das diferenças relativas ao salário dos servidores da UTFPR, UFPR e FUNPAR/HC que trabalharam no feriado de 19 de dezembro, referente aos últimos cinco anos trabalhados.

A lei que definia o dia 19 de dezembro como feriado estadual, vigente desde 1962, foi revogada no dia 16 de dezembro de 2014, devido a pressão do setor empresarial e industrial do Paraná na Alep. Os deputados decidiram que agora o feriado será facultativo, mas apenas em órgãos públicos do estado.


Entenda a polêmica do dia 19 de dezembro, Dia da Emancipação Política do Paraná
A emancipação política do estado do Paraná ocorrida no ano de 1853, quando o estado deixou de ser uma comarca de São Paulo, é comemorada no dia 19 de dezembro. Uma lei do ano de 1962 tornou a data feriado estadual, no entanto, o feriado foi comemorado apenas no primeiro ano de vigência e depois acabou caindo no esquecimento. Nesse contexto, os patrões nem deixavam livre o dia de trabalho, nem pagavam o dia dobrado, como é direito dos trabalhadores.

O caso foi reavivado no ano passado por conta de uma ação ajuizada pelo sindicato dos trabalhadores em concessionárias de veículos de Pato Branco, exigindo o cumprimento da lei vigente e o pagamento dobrado dos dias trabalhados nos feriados anteriores.
