Com o lema “Minha identidade é um direito: mais educação, menos caixões”, o Dia Nacional da Visibilidade Trans aconteceu em Curitiba na última sexta-feira, 29. Durante todo o dia, uma tenda montada na Boca Maldita ofereceu à comunidade transexual da cidade assessoria jurídica, inclusive para a retificação do pré-nome no registro de identidade, além de testagem de HIV e material informativo para a população em geral. No fim da tarde, um ato político percorreu parcialmente o calçadão da Rua XV, pedindo o fim da violência contra transexuais.

O evento, organizado pelo Transgrupo Marcela Prado, contou com o apoio do Sinditest-PR. No ato, o sindicato foi representado pelo coordenador de Combate a Opressões Anderson Spier Gomes.

Transexuais são pessoas que se identificam com um gênero que não o de nascimento. São das figuras que mais sofrem preconceito, segundo Anderson, mesmo dentro do movimento LGBT.

De acordo com um levantamento feito por ONGs ligadas ao tema, por meio da cobertura da imprensa, nos primeiros 26 dias de 2016, 57 transexuais foram mortos de forma violenta no Brasil. “Mas esse número pode ser maior ainda, muita coisa não aparece na mídia”, comenta Rafaelly Wiest, presidente do Transgrupo Marcela Prado, ONG responsável por defender os direitos de transexuais em Curitiba.

Não há estimativas sobre o número de pessoas que compõe a comunidade trans no Brasil, no Paraná, ou em Curitiba, o que dificulta a formulação de políticas públicas sobre o tema. “Isso é uma coisa que a gente pede há anos pros órgãos oficiais. O IBGE vai na sua casa e marca um quadradinho apenas como homem ou mulher. Não existe um campo onde você possa se declarar transexual. Para o Estado brasileiro, a gente não existe”, protesta Rafaelly.

A falta de políticas estatais impede que transexuais tenham acesso à educação (eles frequentemente abandonam cedo os estudos) ou ao mercado de trabalho. “Sofremos muito preconceito. Desrespeitam a nossa identidade. Você pode parecer uma mulher, mas é tratado como homem. Nós sofremos discriminação no mercado, na escola, no táxi”, lamenta ela.

Um exemplo disso, diz Rafaelly, é a negação ao uso do chamado “nome social”, solicitado por transexuais que desejam alterar o nome no registro de identidade para um que reflita o gênero com que se identificam. O Transgrupo Marcela Prado tem um projeto que presta assessoria jurídica e tanta agilizar esses processos. Em dois meses, já foram mais de 40 solicitações.
