Com o lema “Minha identidade é um direito: mais educação, menos caixões”, o Transgrupro Marcela Prado promove na sexta-feira, 29, em Curitiba, o Dia Nacional da Visibilidade Trans.
O evento acontece na Boca Maldita, a partir das 10 da manhã. Painéis lembrarão a violência cometida contra transexuais no Brasil (segundo cálculos de ONGs, já são quase 50 mortes só este ano), mas também mostrarão mensagens positivas, como a de transexuais que hoje estão inseridos no mercado de trabalho e vivem com relativa tranquilidade. Ao fim da tarde, às 16 horas, o evento de encerra com um ato.
“Hoje, há professoras, diretoras de colégio transexuais em Curitiba. Vamos mostrar isso. Que elas são humanas. Uma coisa tão difícil de entrar na cabeça das pessoas”, comenta Anderson Spier Gomes, coordenador de Combate às Opressões do Sinditest-PR e voluntário no grupo que organiza os eventos do Dia da Visibilidade Trans em Curitiba. O sindicato apoia a iniciativa.
Transexuais são pessoas que se identificam com um gênero que não o de nascimento. São das figuras que mais sofrem preconceito, de acordo com Anderson, mesmo dentro do movimento LGBT. “Quando você é trans, o início do processo é muito perceptível a todos. Isso incomoda muito mais”, avalia Anderson. “Tenho uma amiga formada em moda, uma trans lindíssima, que simplesmente não consegue trabalho. Na hora da entrevista, percebem”, conta.
Por isso, na sexta-feira, a ideia é mostrar que a comunidade trans existe e não aparece apenas no noticiário policial, como vítimas de crimes violentos. “Literalmente, põe a cara no sol, mona”, convida Anderson.
