O Sinditest é amarelo!

Você notou que nosso site mudou de cor? O Sinditest “vestiu-se” de amarelo para mostrar que não só em setembro, mas durante todo o ano, atua na prevenção do suicídio através da luta por melhores condições de trabalho, fim do assédio moral e respeito à humanidade dos trabalhadores e trabalhadoras.

Setembro Amarelo é uma campanha de conscientização sobre o suicídio, um tabu que não aparece na mídia, mas vitima 32 brasileiros por dia. Desde 2008, vem chamando a atenção o aumento do número de pessoas que tiram a própria vida dentro do local de trabalho. Na Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR), estima-se que 30% dos afastamentos por doença ocorram devido à depressão, maior causa de ideação suicida – o impulso de se matar.

De acordo com especialistas, o suicídio no local de trabalho é um ato extremamente simbólico. O modelo de gestão predominante em instituições públicas e empresas, que está inserido em uma lógica neoliberal, visa ao lucro e à produtividade. A consequência é que os trabalhadores e trabalhadoras têm sua humanidade negada, e os ambientes laborais se transformam em locais adoecedores, produtores de sofrimento psicológico.

A pressão das chefias, a não-valorização, o assédio moral, a competitividade e a falta de solidariedade entre colegas são vistos como fatores que desencadeiam transtornos mentais. Na UFPR, aposentadorias forçadas, transferências impostas de setor/unidade e aumento ou diminuição do volume de trabalho como retaliação são violências que ocorrem com a conivência da instituição, e que provocam adoecimento.

Saúde do Trabalhador é um tema prioritário para o Sinditest, e frequentemente negligenciado pela atual gestão da Universidade. Por isso, o Sindicato está contratando uma psicóloga. A ideia é acolher o(a) profissional assediado(a) e prestar um primeiro atendimento. Segundo José Carlos de Assis, coordenador geral do Sinditest, esta medida, sozinha, não resolverá o problema, mas amenizará o sofrimento de quem sofre assédio.

Batalhando contra a precarização do trabalho, pela manutenção do atendimento a especialidades no Ambulatório dos Funcionários (AF) da UFPR, pela melhoria das condições de trabalho e pelo respeito aos direitos e à dignidade humana, o Sindicato cuida da saúde mental dos trabalhadores e trabalhadoras.

Campanha

O Setembro Amarelo existe desde 2014, e foi criado pelo Centro de Valorização à Vida (CVV), Conselho Federal de Medicina (CFM) e Associação Brasileira de Psiquiatria (ABP). O apoio à campanha ocorre com a identificação de locais públicos e particulares com a cor amarela e ampla divulgação de informações.
