Atos contra aumento das passagens acontecem em todo o país durante a semana

Assim que o ano de 2015 começou, diversas prefeituras de importantes cidades do país anunciaram reajustes no preço das passagens do transporte público. No entanto, os movimentos sociais que defendem a mobilidade urbana já se organizam para protestar contra os aumentos.

No Rio de Janeiro, o Movimento Passe Livre (MPL) organiza para esta segunda-feira (5), o 4º Encontro Contra o Aumento da Passagem no Largo de São Francisco, no Centro, às 18h, segundo texto no facebook do grupo. O ato ganhou força depois de o prefeito Eduardo Paes anunciar que a tarifa dos ônibus municipais aumentaria de R$ 3,00 para R$ 3,40 a partir do último sábado (3).

Também nesta segunda-feira (5), o MPL em São Paulo vai realizar o que chama, em sua página no Facebook, de “Aula Pública Contra a Tarifa”. A mobilização vai ocorrer em frente à prefeitura da capital paulista às 17h. O prefeito Fernando Haddad anunciou recentemente que a tarifa aumentará 50 centavos e custará R$3,50.

Na quarta-feira (7), o movimento na cidade de Joinville, em Santa Catarina, organiza um ato contra o aumento da tarifa para R$ 3,70. O evento está marcado para as 18h em frente à praça da Bandeira. No mesmo dia 7, o MPL em Salvador organiza o 1º Ato Contra o Aumento para as 14h, no Campo Grande. “Se a tarifa aumentar, Salvador vai parar” é o lema que consta no convite.

Em São Paulo está previsto mais um evento, na sexta-feira (9). O MPL programa um ato para as 17h em frente ao Theatro Municipal contra o provável aumento nas tarifas de ônibus, metrô e trem.

“O prefeito Fernando Haddad já confirmou que a tarifa de ônibus em São Paulo vai aumentar no início de janeiro. O governador Geraldo Alckmin, por sua vez, afirmou que as passagens do Metrô e da CPTM devem subir junto”, afirma a nota do grupo publicada no Facebook. Na página do evento na rede social cerca de 25 mil pessoas haviam confirmado presença ao ato e à aula na cidade.

MP-RJ contesta aumento

O Ministério Público do Rio de Janeiro (MP-RJ) pediu à justiça nesta segunda-feira (5) a suspensão do aumento das passagens de ônibus na cidade carioca. O MP considerou o aumento inconstitucional, já que o contrato de concessão deve levar em conta apenas a inflação e os custos operacionais das empresas, porém, na conta do reajuste também estão sendo colocados o custo com a gratuidade do sistema e o investimento para a compra de ônibus com ar-condicionado.
