Trabalhadora do HC vence câncer de mama e se torna mãe

Lilian Kozoski Pacheco Narok, trabalhadora da FUNPAR no Hospital de Clínicas há 20 anos, ficou completamente sem reação quando recebeu o diagnóstico de câncer de mama. “Eu não sabia o que fazer, o que falar. Eu não imaginava. Fui lá simplesmente para pegar o resultado de um exame, e a médica disse que eu ia ter que retirar todo o meu seio direito. Fiquei paralisada, olhando para ela”, conta.

Era 2005, Lilian tinha 40 anos e havia ficado viúva recentemente. “Três anos antes do diagnóstico, eu comecei a sentir umas dores no seio esquerdo.” Em 2003, fez uma mamografia, que não indicou nenhuma alteração. No ano seguinte, passou novamente pelo exame, também sem anormalidades. No terceiro ano, o resultado mostrou três focos de células malignas na mama direita. “As dores do seio esquerdo não tinham nada a ver com o câncer, mas acabaram servindo como um alerta. Como eu estava fazendo exames todos os anos, a doença foi descoberta bem no início.”

Tratamento rápido

Graças ao diagnóstico precoce, o tratamento e a cura ocorreram muito rápido. “Assim que eu descobri o câncer, fiz a cirurgia, foi questão de um mês para o outro. No mesmo procedimento, retiraram as células malignas e fizeram a reconstrução da mama. Lembro que a operação foi bem demorada, começou no início da tarde e só terminou de madrugada. Fiz tudo no HC”, relata.

O médico que a operou havia sugerido retirar um músculo da região da virilha para fazer a reconstrução da mama, mas a alertou que, com essa opção, ela não poderia engravidar. “Não aceitei. Não tive filhos com meu primeiro marido e queria muito ser mãe. Pedi que fosse colocada uma prótese de silicone.”

Lilian não precisou passar por quimioterapia ou outro procedimento mais drástico, porque a doença foi descoberta ainda no começo. “Isso fez toda a diferença. Por isso eu digo, as mulheres têm que fazer mamografia a partir da idade recomendada. Tem gente que fala que é um exame horrível, mas não é. Poder ser meio chatinho, mas é rápido de fazer. Perto da doença, não é nada.”

Novo caminho

im141Recuperada do susto e do câncer, Lilian seguiu a vida. Três anos depois da cirurgia, se casou novamente, em 2008. Com 43 anos, ela já havia desistido do sonho de ser mãe. “Pensei, já que não vou ter filhos, então vou estudar.”

Organizou-se, dedicou-se e, no começo de 2011, foi aprovada no vestibular para o curso de Administração Pública a distância da UFPR. “Fiquei muito, muito feliz. Mas por volta daqueles dias eu estava uma pilha de nervos, muito estressada. Fui fazer uns exames no Ambulatório dos Funcionários pra ver o que estava acontecendo. Foi  aí que descobri que estava grávida, uma semana depois do resultado do vestibular.”

Naquele momento, Lilian viu que às vezes a vida dá uma rasteira após a outra, como foi a perda do primeiro marido e a descoberta do câncer. Mas, outras vezes, surpreende com duas notícias boas de uma só vez. “Nem sei dizer o que me deixou mais feliz. Eram duas coisas que eu queria muito, ser mãe e voltar a estudar. Saí do HC, comprei uma meinha de bebê, cheguei em casa e entreguei a sacolinha para o meu marido. Ele olhou e não entendeu. Então eu disse que estava grávida”, lembra ela.

A gestação, apesar de ter sido de alto risco devido à idade de Lilian, foi tranquila, sem nenhum problema. “A médica até me dizia, mas você não tem nem uma pressão alta, nem um diabetes para tratar”, brinca. Angelina nasceu após 39 semanas de gravidez, em outubro de 2011, pesando mais de quatro quilos. “Ela era compridona, o maior bebê do quarto!”

A amamentação depois do câncer de mama nunca foi uma preocupação para a trabalhadora. “Nem cheguei a pensar nisso. Amamentei só com o seio esquerdo, até minha filha completar 2 anos. A única coisa era que cansava o braço esquerdo, de ficar segurando a bebê.”

Lilian é muito grata à trabalhadora Edísia, que atuava no banco de leite do HC e a orientou durante o período de amamentação. “Ela me ajudou muito, me aconselhou, tinha muito conhecimento nesse assunto. Hoje já faz uns três anos que ela morreu”, recorda, com carinho.

Há dois anos, Lilian trabalha na disciplina de Urologia do HC. Na instituição, ela já passou pelo Pronto-Atendimento, ambulatórios, Endoscopia e Eletroencefalograma. Desde que tratou o câncer, faz exames periódicos para monitorar sua saúde. “Está tudo bem, inclusive a última mamografia apontou que meu quadro está melhor que o do ano anterior. Toda vez que tem que fazer exame eu fico apreensiva, me dá um medo enorme. Mas tem que fazer”, afirma.

A descoberta da doença, o processo do tratamento e os episódios seguintes da vida de Lilian renderam muitas lições. “Agradeço a Deus pela cura e pela filha linda e maravilhosa que Ele me deu. Com o câncer, aprendi que a gente tem que fazer o que tem vontade. Não deixar as coisas para depois. A gente tem que tentar fazer o que gosta. Tem que viver”, ensina.

Além de valorizar o momento presente, Lilian viu que novas batalhas vão sempre aparecendo. “Não é porque venci um câncer que não tenho mais problemas. Vão surgindo outras questões, de outras proporções.” Ela conta que aprendeu muito nas duas décadas de atuação no HC, mas, para quando se aposentar, tem planos bem diferentes. “Quero trabalhar com moda, decoração, flores, quero me dedicar a isso. Gosto de coisas bonitas”, diz.
